Conference design for DevX Conf
In April 2021 and May 2022, we hosted DevX Conf, a virtual conference for creators to collaborate, engage in discussions, and streamline development workflows and toolchains. A place to improve developer experience.
In 2021, I took ownership of the event organization and its design. In 2022, as the Gitpod team expanded and we acquired a dedicated community manager, my focus shifted exclusively to enhancing the visual appearance of the event.

The website is highly inspired by Vercel’s open-source Event Starter Kit. This resource greatly facilitated our planning process and played a pivotal role in giving us the confidence to organize the conference in the first place.
Event organisation and moderation (2021)
In 2021, I led the speaker organization, sponsorship coordination, web design, and registration coordination for DevX Conf. The event featured a lineup of 28 speakers, and we had over 1,500 attendees signed up for the virtual event. You can view the intro video here.
